The Argus

The Argus was built in 1905 by the American Shipbuilding Company and was owned by Interlake Steamship Company. She was 416 feet long with a 50-foot beam. When the Argus sank during the Great Storm of 1913, she took all 24 crew members with her. The wreck of the Argus was found in 1972 in Lake Huron near Kincardine, Ontario.
