In celebration of the 150th Anniversary, the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame commissioned theatrical vignettes, that were performed at the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame and around New Brunswick.
The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, in partnership with the Fredericton Rowing Club, hosted a re-enactment at the St. Anne’s Point Pedway on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Following this re-enactment the community was invited to an Open House event at the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame where they will be greeted by a live Paris Crew themed production by a talented group of performers. This event was free to public and made possible by generous support received from the City of Fredericton. While at the Open House, attendees were able to view the many exhibits showcasing the story of “The Paris Crew” and the History of Rowing in New Brunswick. This event was fun for the whole family, and they were also able to get to experience all that the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame has to offer.
Following the event on July 8th, these performances continued daily with performances taking place at the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame. There was also a traveling exhibit component that brought this story to communities across the province at numerous scheduled events
