Job posting, 1946

Call number : P001, S03, SS01, SSS04
Date : 1946
Positions for women at the plant often involved the lighter manual tasks at the final stages of the paper production process. Some duties, e.g., running the machines and packaging, were reserved for men only. Beginning in the 1970s, however, many women lost their jobs as technology made their tasks obsolete. Some of them therefore applied for positions that up to then had been exclusively for men, either with Rolland or at other plants in the region.
