Except for Roger Rolland, who was a writer and a political attaché of Pierre Elliott Trudeau, all of the sons worked for the company. Most progressed to manager positions or president, but some, especially members of the fifth generation, worked as accountants or technicians. With a career spanning 50 years, Lucien Rolland served the longest at “La Rolland,” followed by Jean Rolland, whose tenure lasted 43 years.
