The Medicine Wheel is a very important symbol among Indigenous cultures and represents their worldview.

In relation to the Wood Buffalo Calf Woman legend, it represents the four races of the world, which include: white, black and red (representing the Indigenous people) and the yellow race. The circle also represents the connectivity of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms.
