This detailed engineering model of S.S. Caribou was constructed by the Dutch shipbuilders of the ferry in 1925. The model is a perfect replica, built to scale to test the design before beginning construction on the ship. The model is on public display at the Railway Coastal Museum in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. This museum displays other information about the sinking of S.S. Caribou.
