S.S. Caribou was a steam merchant vessel of 2,222 gross registered tons. The ship was built by the New Waterways Shipbuilding Company in Schiedam, the Netherlands in 1925, and was owned and operated by the Government of Newfoundland.
This photo is undated and was taken between 1925 and 1942.
