General plan of German Type VIIC submarine. This plan was used for the construction of U-551 to U-574 by the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg, Germany. The different compartments and features of the U-boat are labelled in English and German.
U-69 was the first Type VIIC submarine built in Germany.
