Léon Tremblay on holding the fort
Michaël Gravel and Corporation du Moulin Légaré
Léon Tremblay: Well, I don’t want to be presumptuous here, but if my group and I hadn’t got involved all those years ago, I’m not sure there would still be a mill. I don’t want to speculate too much, but we really threw ourselves into it, with our time, our emotions… how can I put it? our physical efforts too, because we did everything. As I said earlier, we were really just holding the fort because we couldn’t have done much more than that. I’m a bit emotional, but it’s really… it’s part of who I am. Right from the start, it was also part of who I was because heritage and history mean a lot to me, so it gave me the opportunity to give it an important place in my life.
