Daniel Saint-Pierre expresses his appreciation to the community
Michaël Gravel and Corporation du Moulin Légaré
Daniel Saint-Pierre: My thanks go first to the people who have taken an interest in the mill, those who come for a tour or buy flour here. Sometimes people come and tell me: “Unfortunately, I just buy one bag of buckwheat flour a year.” And I always say to them: “One is better than none. One bag times 100,000 people makes 100,000 bags. No bags makes a total of zero.” And the people who come encourage us; it doesn’t matter whether they come for a tour or just pass by for a look, because they tell others about it. People who stop to buy flour encourage us financially and allow us to continue because there are always expenses here and things to do. When it comes to building relationships, I do my best. I never know where it will lead, but I see results in the people who take care of the mill, the ones who come in as customers, as visitors, it’s their interest that helps the mill survive and thrive.
