Several Archeological Artifacts Found in Témiscamingue
Corporation Archéo-08 Collection
The CjGt-2 site was counted with three other sites located around des Quinze Lake. This body of water constitutes an expansion of the Ottawa River and it contains marks from Indigenous people who lived there in prehistory, before 500 BP (before present).
In this picture, we can see :
1. Native copper knife;
2, 3, 7, 8 and 13. Scrapers
4 and 5. Ceramic shards;
6, 9 and 10. Bifaces;
12. Chalcedony tool;
11, 14 to 22. Projectile point.
