On this plank, there are adornments from several sites of Abitibi Lake. Those artefacts are from the historical period, probably in the 18th century 300 years BP (before present)]. There are trinkets on this image or copper tinklers on it, a key element of the first trades between settlers and Indigenous people. These copper pieces that were recycled from cauldrons are attached to ceremonial clothes so it does little clicking sounds that go along with the music.
Quote : Corporation Archéo-08
An aglet is a metallic piece in a conical or cylindrical shape at the end of a lace, a needle, a fringe strand on a piece of clothing or the end of a hand strand. Sometimes it is cut in a metal object, for example a kettle, so worn out it cannot be used.
