The Tyler Hardwood Flooring Mills at Préfontaine, circa 1923, adjacent to the railway station of the same name. On the left can be seen the Pont Marier over the North River, the mill manager’s house (still in existence) and the parallel tracks where railway wagons are loaded for transporting the wood to Montreal.
