Rose-Aimée Francoeur-Mask recounts her life in Roc-d´Or
Mrs. Rose-Aimée Francoeur-Mask: “We stayed six years at Roc-d’Or, it seems to me. After that, we moved to Malartic. But in the past, back when Roc-d’Or existed, Roc-d’Or was more populated than Malartic. But there, in Roc-d’Or, people would arrive and build themselves a house wherever. But there was no street, nothing there. They were called squatters: everyone was building here and there.”
