A Laundry Owned by a Chinese Immigrant

This is the laundry ran by the only Chinese immigrant to settle in Roc-d’Or. The 1941 census records 136 people of Chinese origin in Northwestern Quebec. They came, building the National Transcontinental Railway, and later worked in restaurants and laundries.
