Rose-Aimée Francoeur-Mask talks about moving her house:
Mrs. Francoeur-Mask: “I remember that in our case, they moved the house with large logs underneath. And that it was a tractor that pulled it all. We had a cat and she was on the second floor. The house was one-and-a-half story high. The cat went up through the window – it was open – and jumped down.”
Interviewer: “During the move?”
Mrs. Francoeur-Mask: “Yes, yes. She got scared because it was shaking. She went up through the window and dropped down. She didn’t hurt herself; she must have landed on her feet. (Laughs).”
