This fundraising brochure for the Psoriasis Education and Research Centre (PERC) included information on the Centre’s research projects.
It reads “Recently, the PERC team made a remarkable breakthrough in finding the first effective method of mapping the progress of the disease through special photography and a computer. It is called “digitalizing”, and has never been done before anywhere. It could prove to be the most valuable technique found to date to monitor the effects of various treatments – and may someday help unlock the secret nature of the disease itself.”
