This IBM punched card was used by Dr. Hilda Roberts to record data for her obstetrical anaesthesia study at Women’s College Hospital in 1966.
Data was recorded on each card with a key punch machine. The punched card could then be read using a very large computer. The IBM punched card became a symbol of the modern information age.
