Listen to Pat tell the story of Margaret’s Christmas break… in November!

Pat, Class of 1958: I come down my corridor and I hear Maggie on the phone, and it’s about-

Margaret, Class of 1958: Oh yeah.

Pat: -November-

Margaret: Oh, I’d forgotten that.

Pat: -twenty fifth or sixth-

Margaret: Yeah.

Pat: -or something like that.

Margaret: Yeah.

Pat: Still November.

Margaret: Yeah.

Pat: And, and, she’s… and then she says “Well, I’ll be home for Christmas!” And I suppose there’s “Ooh, ahh” in the background. Now there’s a little silence, and Margaret says [laughing], “This weekend!” [Laughs.]

Margaret: [Laughs.] Yeah.

Pat: Oh my. And-

Margaret: You know-

Pat: -I thought “Typical! Typical!”
