Diver swims through a torpedo hole in shipwreck

A female scuba diver swims through a torpedo hole in the hull of one of the Bell Island shipwrecks. The thick steel plates of the hull are bent like putty, indicating the terrible power of the torpedo explosion. It is little wonder the ore ships sank in seconds with water pouring in these huge holes in the hull.
