These four graves are in the St. Boniface Anglican Cemetery on Bell Island. The bodies of Able Seamen Thomas C. Wood and Herbert Swain, along with Firemen George Harrison and William F. Terry, were recovered after the sinking of SS Saganaga on September 5, 1942. Similarly, seven bodies recovered from the sinking of SS P.L.M. 27 and one sailor lost on SS Rose Castle are also buried on Bell Island.
These grave sites are maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
